RVing Tips and Articles | Camping
Main
How would you like to take
your horse and dog on vacation with you, enjoy riding, camping, fishing with
them during the day - stable them safely - then spend a fun evening at the
casino, have a romantic dinner or take a tour of Victoria BC for the afternoon?
How about bagging that trophy elk or buck, tracking on horseback, stabling
at night, sleeping comfortably and warmly in a motel? Or, you may just want
a quiet get away with your family or friends.
Sound difficult and expensive?
It isn't!
Our
new facilities located in Quilcene, Washington enable us to offer vacation
and overnight stabling to our friends and visitors - PLUS sites for families
with tents or RVs. (Click the link to
take a
tour!)
This is an exciting new
service from Hunter's Pony Farm and we hope some of you will take advantage
of this opportunity to explore the Olympic Peninsula on horseback as well
as by car. Take a
ferry to Seattle or Victoria BC. Click the map to enlarge and print or
click the "Get a Map" button to print one of our location on Hwy 101.
To the left are links to the
various attractions and National Forest sites in the area. To trail ride
in the National Forests you must have a pass, although I was told no pass
is needed to ride in the Forest above our farm; check with the Forest Service
to be sure. See the link to the left.
Click this link
for the Olympic National Parks Feild Guide (all links open new
windows).
Our indoor arena, outdoor
arena, round pen and hot walker are available to guests who stable their
horses at Hunter's Pony Farm.
Horses must
have current
coggins
test and vaccinations, vet certificate or health certificate. Dogs must
have current vaccinations. Please, no stallions, also, it would be great
if you would worm your animals before coming.
